Cold plunge rentals

How cold plunge rental works

The operator delivers a tub, fills it from your hose, and either adds ice or connects a chiller that holds a set temperature. Ice-cooled tubs are simpler and cheaper but warm up over a day; chiller tubs hold temperature for the whole booking and need a standard outlet.

Tubs are usually single-person or two-person. Event setups bring two or three tubs so guests can rotate between sauna rounds without waiting.

Renting a cold plunge with a sauna

Most people rent a cold plunge alongside a mobile sauna. The pairing is contrast therapy: a hot round in the sauna, a short cold immersion, a rest, and repeat. Providers who offer both usually price the plunge as a daily add-on to the sauna booking.

If you only want the plunge, fewer providers offer it standalone, and some require a sauna booking. The listings below show which providers rent plunges on their own.

What cold plunge rental costs

As an add-on to a sauna rental, listed providers publish rates around $150 to $200 per day per tub. Standalone plunge rentals start near the same figure, and multi-day bookings cost less per day. Chiller units and event packages with several tubs cost more. Figures are as of September 2026; confirm with the provider.

Site requirements and safety

You need a hose within reach, a level surface that can take a full tub, and somewhere to drain several hundred liters at the end. Decks need a check: a filled tub is heavy. Chiller units need an outlet.

Cold immersion is intense. Keep first sessions short, never plunge alone, and ask the provider about supervision for events. People with heart or blood pressure conditions should ask a doctor before using a cold plunge. This directory does not give medical advice.

What to ask a provider

These questions cover the things that vary most between cold plunge rentals.

Ask before you book

• Is the tub ice-cooled or chiller-cooled, and what temperature does it hold?
• Is ice included, and how much is delivered per day?
• Do you fill and drain the tub, or do I?
• How many people can use it per hour at an event?
• Can I rent the plunge without a sauna?
• What is the deposit, and what happens if the weather turns?

How to choose a provider

Start with the providers who serve your city. If you also want a sauna, choose one provider for both, because the delivery, setup, and pricing are simpler. For events, choose a provider who lists an attendant and can supply several tubs.
